Volunteers
We are a charity volunteer run slope and our instructors and all lodge officials gladly give up their free time to benefit the club. We think this is what give us a great atmosphere and heart. All monies raised from the club activities are put back to provide it's registration for instructors, insurance, operating fees, keeping equipment and our outstanding facilities up to date.
Instructors
All our alpine ski instructors are volunteers and hold national qualifications such as from Snowsport England and/or BASI. If you wish to get involved take a look at our 'Coach and Instructor Recruitment and Retention Policy' on our policies pages. You can also complete an application form or complete a paper form and email to the club secretary of interested in joining the team. Here is an Instructor page for additional info.
We also offer Snowboard, Freestyle (Park & Pipe), Racing and Adaptive qualifications. Apply using our application form or complete a paper form and email to the club secretary if interested in joining the team.
Lodge Officials
All our lodge officials offer their time to support the club activities for free. There are no paid officials. Time spent on club duties are repaid by offering free slope time and free ski hire. We have on average around 80 helpers in any one season. Such duties include ski and board instructors, Lodge Ski & Board setter, Till duties, maintenance, memberships, marketing and committee duties.

Gardeners
We are proud of our facility and have a group of members who look after the ground around the club.
If you want to help the club keep the gardens around the slope in tip to condition, meet new friends and help us maintain one of the nicest slopes in the UK just come along. Come down with a fork, spade and some gardening gloves on the gardening dates above and join in. Karen will give you a job and probably bring out the tea after a short while. Thank you for your help in keeping our club looking in tip top condition.
Although the work is demanding, we take time out for tea and biscuits during the two hour session.
